Without this blockage, people will be able to just go about their daily lives without worrying about what other people think of them or about how they compare with where they would like to be.

It all has to do with how people view themselves and what they hope to gain by keeping on with their work and their goals, rather than allowing themselves to be easily knocked from their path.
