The Mindset of Weakness and Helplessness

Weakness and helplessness are caused by people feeling as if they cannot do something that, in a different mindset, they would be able to successfully pull off. Helplessness and weakness are part of a mental blockage that is allowed to fester within the minds of those afflicted with it. It has to do with their perception of themselves. Without this blockage, people will be able to just go about their daily lives without worrying about what other people think of them or about how they compare with where they would like to be.

It is in part self confidence, and it can be associated with self esteem, as well. However, it really has to do with your feeling of competency. If you feel successful at work and interacting with your family, you will feel competent when you meet tragedies or really difficult circumstances. It all has to do with how people view themselves and what they hope to gain by keeping on with their work and their goals, rather than allowing themselves to be easily knocked from their path.

Have you ever had anyone who believed in you completely? Have you ever thought they were nuts to do so? You may touch on this problem, even if it’s just a little bit.

Drug abusers and alcoholics are never able to get true traction when it comes to this because their feeling of inferiority are so strong that they just give up on the most basic and daily of tasks. What would you think of having an employee like that working for you? You need to know if one or more of your employees is abusing illicit substances while at work. Mediscreen not only provides pre-employment screening but we also provide regular onsite drug and alcohol testing. That means that we bring our mobile drug and alcohol testing services and our drug testing equipment to your business and screen your employees right there onsite. That’s the way to do it. That’s the way to have some sort of belief in your employees.
